In an ad proposal, this campaign's ad spend is multiplied by the number of variants (each variant funded at the same rate, e.g. 15s / 30s / 60s to test watch time).
Set quarterly budget
Guidance: minimum $2,000 inc GST per quarter across all activity.
Plan a quarter — intake
Mirrors the Quarterly Digital Spend form. Auto-schedules across the 13-week quarter. Planning only — nothing is published.
Defaults to today if you're mid-quarter. Page Likes runs from here to quarter end.
Off = use the week counts you set per service.
Page Likes runs the full quarter; fixed-cost items (Project Saturn) take their set amount first; the rest split what's left, spread across the quarter.

📥 Imports
Bring in data from your other tools — pick a source below and its options appear.
Import your monthly social exports — Posts/Reach CSV + Followers CSV + Meta (paid), all at once. Feeds the Statistics screen and the social media report. The Brandwatch report still works as a backup.
Import a Brandwatch Labelled Content Performance export (.csv) — the post-level file with a “Post text” column and the labels listed per post. It reads each post’s published date, so the Statistics → Label performance screen can show Weekly / Monthly / Yearly figures per label. Only the label totals and dates are stored — no post text or personal data. Re-importing replaces the previous file.
Import your monday board CSV/XLSX export — Creative ToDo jobs and Quarterly Digital Ad Plan forms. Uploading a month merges with what's already loaded (matched by GSU job number), so it won't wipe existing jobs.
Import Listen2QLD survey exports (.csv) from /admin/surveys — you can select multiple files at once. FocalPoint reads only the totals — response counts and the referrer breakdown (Facebook, Phone canvass, Web…) per survey. Personal details (names, emails, addresses, messages) are not stored. Shows on the Statistics screen under “Survey results”. Re-importing a survey replaces its previous numbers.
Import a Meta “Creative Breakdown” export (.xlsx or .csv). FocalPoint reads the reporting dates and matches each campaign onto your plan (job number, learned alias, then a careful name match), shows a preview with anything to confirm, and writes the actuals onto each campaign. Works with a full month or a weekly “last 7 days” export.
🗂️ Communities data (admin)
Admin only. Load the listen2locals community set, import SA1 / census data as JSON, or export the current communities.
Paste community data as JSON (an array) to fill in SA1 codes, demographics and voting. Communities are matched by name + electorate and updated in place; unmatched names are added. Fields accepted per entry: name, electorate, colour, boundaryYear, saYear, description, mapLoc, sa1Codes, demo{voters, households, medianAge,hhIncome, persIncome, rent, rentingPct,bornOverseasPct,bachelorPct,unemploymentPct}, tpp{lnp, alp}, primary{lnp, alp, grn, pho, oth}.
📍 Email Contacts by SA1
The Communities map shades each SA1 by how many email contacts sit in it. This now runs automatically: each night the Worker reads your Vision6 contacts, counts them per SA1, and stores only the count per SA1 (no names, no personal details). You don't need to import anything. "Sync all accounts now" pulls every account in one go; the nightly run keeps it fresh after that.
Manual override (optional): load a CSV with an SA1 column to fill or correct a seat the live feed can't reach. It replaces just that seat and overrides the live feed there.
📢 Ad targeting area
Reads where each Meta campaign was targeted (the ad set's location targeting) and draws it on the Community Map (open an electorate, then use "Show ad targeting area"). It covers every campaign across all your accounts, live and past (ended, paused and archived are kept), and refreshes automatically each night. "Refresh now" pulls the latest.
🤖 Google Gemini
🖨 Print / PDF
Prints whatever's on screen — use your browser's “Save as PDF” to keep a copy. For a Gantt, open the Quarter or Timeline view first; for a summary, use the Dashboard. Landscape suits wide views.
📆 Google Calendar reminders (admin)
Admin only. Link a Google account so FocalPoint drops reminders onto your Google Calendar: a heads-up when each campaign starts (replacing the old phone-alert feed), plus a halfway and a final reminder to upload the Meta stats for every paid campaign. Needs a one-time Google Cloud OAuth Client ID, set up below.
🔔 Import reminders
Admin-only. A banner reminds you to import each source; you can dismiss it for the day and it returns daily until you import. Set how often each is expected — or turn one off.
Danger zone
Admin only. Choose what to wipe — undoable this session with the ↶ Undo button. Export a backup first if unsure.
🏆 Ad-spend leaderboard
Seats ranked by paid ad spend this quarter
Paid ad spend = Digital Paid Ads items in the current quarter (excludes on-hold seats).
Import monday data
Turn your board's form responses into scheduled quarter plans
In monday, open your Quarterly Digital Spend board → board menu (•••) → Export board to Excel. Upload the file here — .xlsx or .csv both work. Each row becomes a scheduled quarter plan for its electorate, using the same rules as “Plan a quarter”. It matches columns for electorate, budget, quarter, the ticked services, the government-campaigns opt-in, and the “anything else” notes.
📊 Import Meta stats
Match a Creative Breakdown export onto your planned campaigns. Nothing is saved until you press Apply.
In Meta Ads Manager export the Creative Breakdown (All Accounts) report, then upload it here. .xlsx or .csv both work. FocalPoint reads the reporting dates, matches each campaign to your plan (job number first, then learned aliases, then a careful name match), and shows anything it isn't sure about for you to confirm.
📊 Import socials statistics
Drop your monthly CSV exports + Meta — auto-detected
Your monthly workflow — just these, no spreadsheet to build: • Posts / Reach CSV export → organic reach, posts, video views & engagements by electorate & month. • Followers CSV export → total followers & follower growth. • Meta Ads “Raw Data Report” (.xlsx) → paid reach and dollar ad spend. Export one month at a time — each month stacks into a spend history, and the <$2,000 recommendation cut-off applies to the latest quarter. You can select all of these at once — each file is detected and loaded automatically.
Backup option: the Brandwatch Social Tracking Report (.xlsx) still works if you ever want to load a batch of history in one file. The central “LNP” account and ministers are excluded from recommendations; accounts are matched to their electorate where known. This only feeds the Statistics screen — it’s separate from your plan.
